Pedalphiles DVD Edition Released (08/29/05)

It's been five years since filmmaker Brian Standing’s Pedalphiles introduced documentary fans to Skids Creating Apocalyptic Bicycles (S.C.A.B). The Chicago Reader called this gang of roving anarchist chopper bicycle philosopher-artists “so radical, they’re inherently fascinating.”
Pedalphiles provoked the Isthmus to assert that “come the revolution, we’ll all be riding bicycles.” Since then, the movie has played in all corners of the United States, in Mexico, Australia and in Europe. It even inspired a knock-off Coca-Cola commercial – much to the annoyance of the film’s anti-capitalist protagonists.

Now Pedalphiles: The Story of S.C.A.B. is back, on DVD, digitally remastered, looking and sounding better than ever. The DVD contains brand new interviews with S.C.A.B. members, who talk about what they've done in the last five years, what S.C.A.B. meant to them, and how they now feel about bicycles. There's also a slideshow of S.C.A.B.'s outlandish original bicycle creations. You can read more information about Pedalphiles, download video clips, or purchase DVDs online at:
